Three Year Limited Warranty
The following warranty is granted only to the INITIAL consumer who has purchased our product, and commences on the Date of Purchase by the Consumer from an Authorised Dealer, by Lifestyle Mobility. Any warranty claim must be made in the first instance to the Authorised Dealer from whom the product was purchased, and must be taken to the Authorised Dealer for such claims. If the product is not taken to the Authorised Dealer a call-out fee may be payable. This Warranty Covers all our mobility scooters and power chairs:
Three Year Warranty
For the period of three years, from the date of purchase from the Authorised Dealer, in the event of defective materials or workmanship, Lifestyle Mobility will repair or replace at our option any of the following components found to be defective by an authorised Lifestyle Mobility representative:
- Steel Frame
- Frame Welds
- Tiller Frame
- Front Fork
- Seat Post
Eighteen month Warranty
For the period of eighteen months, from the date of purchase from the Authorised Dealer, in the event of defective materials or workmanship by Lifestyle Mobility will repair or replace at our option any of the following components found to be defective by an authorised Lifestyle Mobility representative:
Motor / Brake (electrical function only)
Note: An increase in operating noise of the transaxle DOES NOT constitute a defect or major fault. With normal wear and tear, operating noise is expected to increase.
One Year Warranty
For the period of one year, from the date of purchase from the Authorised Dealer, in the event of defective materials or workmanship, Lifestyle Mobility will repair or replace at our option any of the following components found to be defective by an authorised Lifestyle Mobility representative:
• Dash Assembly
• Battery Charger
• Potentiometer Assembly
• Electronic Controller
• Seat Swivel Mechanism
• Rubber Components, excluding tyres
• Plastic Components, excluding body
• Armrests, excluding pads
Note: While charging batteries it is normal for the battery charger to heat up. Heat coming from the battery charger DOES NOT constitute a defect
NOTE: Items not listed above are not covered for repair under this warranty
Lifestyle Mobility does not provide warranty on any of the following items which may require replacement due to the normal wear and tear of day to day usage:
• Tyres and Tubes
• Plastic Shrouds
• Motor Brushes
• Bulbs / Fuses
• Brake pads
• Armrest pads
This warranty also excludes the following:
Batteries (Please consult battery manufacturer for any implied warranty) Loss or theft of components
Damage caused by:
• Battery fluid spillage or leakage
• Abuse, misuse, accident or negligence
• Improper operation, maintenance or storage
• Commercial use or use other than normal
• Repairs and / or modifications made to any part without specific written consent of Lifestyle Mobility
• Exceeding the specified weight capacity of the unit
• Accessories other than those supplied or approved by Lifestyle Mobility
• Failure to adhere to the product instructions contained in the Owner’s Manual
• Acts of Nature, such as lightning strikes, etc
• Circumstances beyond the control of Lifestyle Mobility
• Call out fees or freight costs if the product is not returned to the authorised dealer.
• ANY PARTS ALTERED OR REPAIRED BY UNAUTHORISED PERSONS.
There is no other express warranty.
Implied warranties, including those of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose are excluded. Liabilities for consequential damages are excluded. This warranty gives you specific rights and you may also have other rights which may vary from state to state.
How to get Warranty Service
Warranty service must be performed by an authorised Lifestyle Mobility representative.
Lifestyle Mobility reserves the right to replace warranted parts with refurbished or new parts at our discretion. All service calls, call-out fees, transportation costs or any other charges associated with any warranty repairs are the responsibility of the consumer.
Warranty is for the replacement of the part only and does not include freight for the replacement parts. Consumers are not to return any item to Lifestyle Mobility without prior written authorisation.
Any damages incurred while warranted parts are in transport are the sole responsibility of the consumer. To receive Warranty Service:
· Contact the Authorised Dealer from whom you purchased the product.
· Arrange to either deliver the product to the Dealer or to have the Dealer call out to inspect the product. Such call-out may attract a fee.
· When the service is complete, either pick up the product from the Dealer or pay for it to be delivered to you.
Warranty Terms and Conditions
Any sale of product by Lifestyle Mobility is subject to and conditional upon its general trading terms and conditions. In the event of any inconsistency between those terms and conditions and the terms and conditions of this Limited Warranty, then the terms of this Warranty shall prevail.
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
You agree that if you submit your personal information to us, we may create a database record about you; and

Lifestyle Mobility is committed to safeguarding your personal privacy. We recognise that you have a right to control how your personal information is collected and used. We know that providing personal information is an act of trust and all our staff at Lifestyle Mobility take that seriously.
Unless you directly give us consent to do otherwise, Lifestyle Mobility will only collect and use your personal information provided using this web site as set out below.
Collecting information about you
Lifestyle Mobility will not collect or monitor any personal information about you without your consent. The only personal information we collect when you use this web site is what you tell us about yourself.
When you apply for a product from us (online), we may ask for your personal information (such as name and address) in order to service your application. You do not have to provide us with this information if that is your preference. However, failure to do so may result in Lifestyle Mobility being unable to sell you products and/or provide certain services including after services.
When you submit information on our site anonymously, such as when using a rate calculator, we do not link this information back to a cookie which identifies you or retain it in any way unless you have agreed to this information being retained.

Storage and security of your personal information
Lifestyle Mobility will endeavour to take all reasonable steps to keep secure any information, which we hold about you, and to keep this information accurate and up to date. Your information is stored on secure servers that are protected in controlled facilities. Our employees and data processors are obliged to respect the confidentiality of any personal information held Lifestyle Mobility. However, as we cannot guarantee the security of communications over the Internet, we cannot give an absolute assurance that your information will be secure at all times. Lifestyle Mobility will not be held responsible for events arising from unauthorised access to your personal information.
Please Note: Your statutory rights are not affected.
We will only accept returns on products where the item is faulty and cannot be repaired.
The cost of returning an item is entirely your responsibility.
We suggest you make use of a parcel delivery company which will insure you for the value of the goods, as Lifestyle Mobility will not be liable for goods that do not reach us or arrive damaged.
The unwanted product must be returned in an ‘as new’ and ‘unused’ condition, including all packaging and accessories.
We must be notified in writing, either by letter, e-mail or fax within 7 calendar days of the date of delivery stating your intention to return any item. Telephone notification is not acceptable.
An administration fee of 15% of the price of the goods will be charged to all returned items to cover any costs incurred by us.
All items delivered via our installed delivery method, are deemed to be a completed sale when the customer is 100% happy with the products delivered and demonstrated. The customers (or customer representatives) signature on the hand-over documentation finalises the sale and are non-returnable.
Please note: we are unable to exchange or refund certain items due to hygiene reasons or if the item was specially made.
